Cookie Policy
Nothing is stored before you answer the cookie bar. The two items that are stored are listed here.
The two keys
| Key | What it holds | How long |
|---|---|---|
05_puerto_iguazu_age_ok | Your answer to the age question, so that it is asked once per device. | Until browsing data is cleared |
05_puerto_iguazu_consent | Your choice to accept or decline, so that the bar does not return. | Until browsing data is cleared |
Both are local storage entries, which are technically different from cookies. They stay in your browser, no other site can read them, and neither carries an identifier.
What Consent Mode v2 does
Four Google signals are set to denied in the head of every page, before any other script runs:
ad_storagead_user_dataad_personalizationanalytics_storage
Every page therefore starts from refusal. Accepting sets all four to granted, and declining leaves them as they were.
What accepting would allow
No tag is present today. If one is added, Google Analytics 4 would write _ga and _ga_<id>, which last two years and recognise a returning reader, and a Google Ads tag would write _gcl_au, which lasts ninety days. If you decline, none of them is created.
Changing your mind
Cookie settings in the footer of every page reopens the bar, and the new answer replaces the old at once.
Blocking storage in the browser
Chrome and Edge under Privacy and security, Firefox under Privacy & Security, Safari under Settings then Privacy. If you block storage entirely, the age question returns on every visit because the answer cannot be kept.
