Privacy Policy

What this site does not do

It does not take a booking, a payment or an account, and it has no login or cart. Most of what a privacy notice usually has to describe does not happen here, so this page is short.

If you only read the pages

Nothing identifying is collected. No analytics or advertising script loads before you answer the bar, and none loads at all if you decline.

Two things kept in your own browser

• 05_puerto_iguazu_age_ok: written after you answer the age question, so it is asked once per device.
• 05_puerto_iguazu_consent: written when you answer the cookie bar, so that your answer is kept.

Both are local storage entries. They never leave your browser, they hold no identifier, and clearing your browsing data removes them. A browser that blocks storage still works normally; you are asked again on each visit.

Server logs

The host records the request, the time, the page and the browser string. That is ordinary hosting, and it is how a reader is told apart from a crawler. Entries are kept for thirty days and then overwritten.

If you write to us

The form carries a name, an email address, a telephone number if you give one, dates if you have them, and your message. It arrives at reception as email and is filed with the booking correspondence for two years, then deleted.

Analytics and advertising

None is on the site today. If a tag is added it will be Google Analytics 4 and a Google Ads tag, and it will load only for readers who accepted. Consent Mode v2 sets all four signals to denied in the head of every page before anything else runs.

The law that applies

Argentine Law 25.326 on the protection of personal data applies. We rely on your consent for analytics and advertising, on your own request for the contact form, and on our legitimate interest in a working site for the server logs.

Who else sees any of it

The hosting company and the email provider see it, as does Google for the tags above once consent is given. Nothing is sold, and no guest list is passed to anyone for marketing.

Your rights

You may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted where the law allows. Write to reception at the address above or to [email protected]; the first request in any six-month period is free, as the law requires, and we do not charge for the others either. The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública hears complaints.

Children

This site is not intended for children, and the pavilion admits over-18s only. Nothing knowingly collected from a child is kept. If you think a child has used the form, tell reception and it is deleted.

Changes

The date on this page moves when the text does, and anything material is flagged on the front page for a month.
